FOOD FOR ALL MY FRIENDS
FOOD FOR ALL MY FRIENDS is my first EP.
It's a mix of 60's pop & contemporary twee pop type stuff.
FFAMF isn't as conseptual as my previous stuff, it's more
just about what was going on in my life when I wrote it (sort of).
The EP was originally a full length album. I wrote the opening track
"Lady May" with some friends in late 2019, right before I recorded my first
album. I went into FFAMF trying to write more concise songs than those
on Expedition to the Underworld, with more straight-forward lyrics too. But this lead
to alot of uninteresting songs with soppy lyrics, so outside of the 4 remaining
songs, I scrapped everything. I'm pretty proud of this EP, I think it's a simple pop
record with fun production, and it doesn't waste your time like the first record did.
FOOD FOR ALL MY FRIENDS was mostly influenced by
MGMT's "Time To Pretend" EP, so definitely check it out!
